The ultimate accessory for the modern day flower child is here. Flower halos. That Madonna Girl, also fondly known as TMG, halos are all the rage in NYC. Spotted on celebrities, such as Paris Hilton and Katy Perry, halos made their way out to the West Coast for Coachella and are blowing up on the music festival scene.
But that’s not why I love them. I’ve never been big on accessories. The flower halo is the perfect girly touch that can be worn dressed up or down. TMG has so many different ones for you to choose from. There’s also halos that have a trio of roses for more of a dressy, evening look. I’m definitely in casual outfits most of the time (mom life), so I snagged The Caitlin (top) and The Kaley (bottom).
TMG halos range from $30 to $70. The latest addition to the shop is the Fedora Halo, which is $45. You can easily just tie one of your halos around a fedora and get the same results. Now I know you might be thinking “$30+ for a leather string with fake flowers on it?”. Trust me, I feel your pain. There is a cheaper alternative, although I can’t speak on the quality. XOBABYGURL on Etsy makes similar halos and also a few (which I happen to love and will be ordering soon) that can’t be found on That Madonna Girl. These start at $15 for the trio and $20 for full halos.
